Bronze Angel & Cherub Statues

Wings are the reason these are cast rather than carved. A pair of outstretched wings puts a wide, thin, cantilevered mass a long way from the body, and stone cannot hold that without thickening the feathers until they stop reading as feathers. Bronze can, which is why the most ambitious winged figures have always been cast.

The range runs across standing and kneeling angels, guardians, angels in prayer or mourning, and cherubs and putti. Cherubs behave differently from full angels in a garden: they read as playful rather than solemn, and they work at smaller scale beside planting where a full angel would need open ground and height.

Everything here is cast, chased and patinated by hand and made for permanent outdoor display, which matters because so much of this subject is bought for memorials and churchyards. Browse the material-agnostic version in angel statues, the marble equivalents in marble sculptures and statues, and the wider devotional work in religious statues.

For memorial use, check any cemetery or churchyard rules on height, material and inscription before ordering, since they vary considerably. We can cast an inscription into a base. See bronze figures and statues and garden statues for the wider ranges.

Every piece is cast to order by our artists, designed in Birmingham and made in our worldwide studios. Standard production takes around three to four weeks, and we offer free worldwide shipping. Get in touch if you are commissioning a memorial and we will guide you through it.
