The Life-Size Classical Standing Angel Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 220cm, presenting a full-figure female angel in a posture of serene authority: wings spread wide, a palm frond held at her side, and her gaze cast gently downward in quiet contemplation.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every nuanced detail of the original model, from the individual feathers of the broad naturalistic wings to the fine folds of the classical draped robes and the delicate articulation of bare feet at the hem. The surface carries a rich warm brown patina with subtle darker tonal variation pooling in the recessed areas of the drapery and featherwork, giving the bronze a depth and gravity entirely suited to a piece of this scale and intent. Each casting is hand-finished by our skilled studio artisans, ensuring the patina reads consistently across the full 220cm height.
At this scale and with its composed, frontal stance, the sculpture reads powerfully in a range of settings. It suits the entrance hall or atrium of a private residence, a formal garden axis, a mausoleum or memorial garden, or an ecclesiastical interior. The warm brown patina harmonises with pale stone, aged brick, dark timber, and clipped formal planting alike. The low stone plinth on which the figure stands can be reproduced or substituted to suit your specific installation context.
We offer alternative patina finishes, including verdigris, dark black-brown, and natural weathered bronze, as well as adjustments to overall scale if you require a version above or below the standard 220cm height. For memorial and funerary commissions, this figure can also be developed with personalised inscription panels on the plinth. The composition is also available inspired by the work of classical figurative sculptors working in the monumental tradition. Contact us before ordering to discuss any requirements.
