Returns Policy
At Giant Sculptures, we take pride in the quality of every piece we sell. We do accept returns under certain circumstances, subject to the conditions below. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return, as not all orders will be eligible.
1. Eligibility for Returns
1.1. Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date, provided all conditions in this policy are met in full.
1.2. To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unused and in their original condition
- Free from dirt, dust, or damage
- In their original, undamaged packaging
1.3. Returns that do not meet all of the above criteria will not be accepted.
2. Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are strictly non-returnable:
2.1. Bespoke, custom-made, or made-to-order items — including but not limited to the 50cm, 135cm, and 165cm bear sculptures.
2.2. Items purchased on promotion or sale.
2.3. Items where slight variations in finish, texture, colour, or appearance arise from the handmade nature of the product. These are inherent characteristics of handcrafted goods and do not constitute defects or grounds for return. By placing an order, customers accept these variations as part of what makes each piece unique.
3. How to Initiate a Return
3.1. To request a return, contact our customer service team at sales@giant-sculptures.com quoting your order number and reason for return. Do not send items back without prior authorisation — unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
3.2. Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide a return authorisation along with the return address and further instructions.
3.3. You are responsible for packaging the item safely and securely for return transit.
4. Return Shipping
4.1. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
4.2. We strongly recommend using a fully trackable and insured shipping service. Giant Sculptures accepts no responsibility for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.
5. Restocking Fee
5.1. All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund issued.
6. Refunds
6.1. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of whether your return has been approved or rejected.
6.2. If approved, your refund — less the 25% restocking fee and any original shipping costs — will be applied to your original payment method within 10 working days.
6.3. Original shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.
6.4. If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please check with your bank or card provider before contacting us, as processing times can vary.
7. Damaged or Faulty Items
7.1. If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, you must notify us in writing at sales@giant-sculptures.com within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the damage. Claims submitted after this window cannot be accepted.
7.2. Where a valid claim is accepted, Giant Sculptures will, at the sole discretion of its management, arrange either a repair or a like-for-like replacement. Refunds are not available for damaged or defective items.
7.3. Any remedy offered remains subject to the same lead times and shipping terms as the original order.
8. Exchanges
8.1. We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, please follow the standard returns process for your original order and place a new order separately.
9. General
9.1. This Returns Policy forms part of and should be read alongside our full Terms & Conditions. In the event of any conflict, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
9.2. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
