The Large Classical Angel and Male Figure Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 210cm, depicting a standing man in period attire who draws a winged female figure into a close embrace; she wraps her arms around his neck, her legs trailing softly behind her, while her broad feathered wings rise and spread outward in an arc of suspended motion. A discarded hat rests at the male figure's feet, lending the composition an intimacy that feels both inevitable and unhurried.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a process that captures every contour of the original model with exceptional fidelity. The surface carries a warm brown bronze patina with subtle darker tonal variation pooling in the recessed folds of clothing and feathering, giving each wing its sense of layered depth. The result is a hand-finished cast bronze sculpture whose surface rewards close inspection as much as it commands a room from a distance.
At 210cm, this piece has the physical presence to anchor a grand entrance hall, a sweeping staircase landing, a hotel lobby, or a formal garden courtyard. Its warm brown patina sits naturally against stone, marble, and aged timber; equally, it holds its own against pale rendered walls or dark hardscape. The low-profile dark rectangular plinth is integrated into the composition, requiring no additional base.
We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the classical warm brown shown, including verde green, dark graphite, and polished natural bronze. The sculpture can also be produced at a reduced scale for interior applications. If you have a site-specific requirement or would like a version inspired by the work of a particular figurative tradition, contact us before ordering and we will advise on feasibility and lead time.
