Giant Sculptures Monumental Classical Victory Angel and Wounded Soldier Bronze Sculpture 350cm, winged angel with laurel and sword above a kneeling rifleman.
Monumental Classical Victory Angel and Wounded Soldier Bronze Sculpture - 350cm $53,54100
Description

The Monumental Classical Victory Angel and Wounded Soldier Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 350cm, presenting a composition of profound gravity: a winged angel rises behind a kneeling soldier, her wings fully spread, one arm raised bearing a laurel branch, the other lowering a sword with an ornate decorative guard.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which preserves every detail of the original model through successive stages of ceramic shell building and molten bronze pouring. The surface carries a deep brown-black patina, applied and burnished by hand to bring forward the textural complexity of the feathered wings, the soldier's ammunition bandolier, and the fine decorative work on the sword guard. The result is a piece of gallery-grade cast bronze that reads as both monumental and intimate in its detail.

At 350cm tall and 1,300kg, this sculpture commands civic-scale spaces: the forecourt of an estate, a memorial garden, the atrium of an institutional building, or a formal public landscape. Its dark, authoritative patina pairs with stone paving, granite steps, rendered concrete, and mature planting alike. The composition reads powerfully from distance and holds close inspection with equal confidence. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, bronze weathers beautifully in open air with no structural degradation.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the standard dark brown-black, including verdigris, warm mid-brown, and satin gold. The sculpture can also be scaled to suit a specific architectural context, from a commanding garden centrepiece to a full civic memorial installation. For clients interested in a bespoke version, contact us before ordering so we can discuss your requirements in full.
