Monumental Classical Standing Angel Bronze Sculpture - 240cm $39,86500
Description

The Monumental Classical Standing Angel Bronze Sculpture stands 240cm tall, presenting a full-length female angel figure in dynamic contrapposto, arms raised in an expansive upward gesture, robes sweeping dramatically around the form, and large feathered wings spread wide behind her. At this scale, the piece commands any space it occupies with genuine architectural presence.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Gold Patina

This figure is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a technique that preserves every nuance of the original model, from the fine layering of individual feathers across the wings to the soft undulation of draped fabric at the feet. The surface is hand-finished to a fully gilded gold patina, polished to a high reflectivity that amplifies the sculptural detail and gives the piece the quality of a gilded ceremonial bronze rather than a standard garden cast. At 800kg, the bronze mass is substantial; the weight itself speaks to the integrity of the pour.

At 240cm, this sculpture is suited to grand interiors and formal exterior settings in equal measure. Indoors, it reads powerfully in double-height entrance halls, galleries, hotel lobbies, and ecclesiastical spaces, where the gold finish catches ambient light and shifts in character throughout the day. Outside, it performs well against pale stone architecture, manicured formal gardens, and contemporary glass-and-steel facades. The gold patina is equally at home against dark greenery or pale limestone paving.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

The gold patina shown here is our default finish for this piece, but we can apply a range of alternatives including antique verde, dark brown, or natural oxidised bronze depending on your setting. The figure can also be scaled to a custom height for monumental architectural installations. For commissions inspired by the work of historical figurative sculptors working in the classical tradition, we welcome early-stage conversations about adapted compositions. Contact us before ordering to discuss any modifications.
