The Monumental Contemporary Crouching Angel Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 300cm, commanding immediate attention through its dramatic composition: a powerful angelic figure crouching low, body drawn inward, with vast feathered wings extending upward and outward in a sweeping fan of bronze that spans far wider than the figure itself.
This sculpture is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, in which every contour of the feathered wings and the figure's taut, restrained musculature is captured with precision across multiple poured sections. The surface is hand-finished to a highly polished gold finish, delivering exceptional reflectivity and a luminous presence that shifts with the light throughout the day. The result is a piece that reads as both weighty and radiant, grounded by its crouching stance yet made buoyant by the gilded surface. At 900kg, the structural integrity of the casting is substantial; this is not decorative metalwork but serious monumental sculpture.
Given its scale and surface character, this large gold angel statue is equally at home in grand outdoor settings such as formal gardens, private estates, hotel courtyards, or civic plazas, and in architectural interiors including entrance halls, atriums, and gallery spaces. The gold finish pairs naturally with dark stone, polished concrete, and deep green planting. The low-profile dark plinth at the base grounds the composition and requires no additional support structure beyond a level, load-bearing surface.
The gold surface treatment shown can be adjusted to a traditional dark patina, a verdigris aged finish, or a two-tone combination. Scale commissions are available for clients requiring dimensions beyond the standard 300cm. If you are considering a bespoke specification, including alternative plinths, custom sizing, or a finish inspired by the work of specific contemporary figurative sculptors, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm scope and lead time.

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
