About Our Bronze Bear Statues
Bears in bronze combine raw physical power with intimate detail. Where a small bronze bear can sit on a desk and feel alive, a life size bear can dominate a garden or grand entrance with the same presence the animal commands in the wild. Our bronze bear statue collection captures this full range, with every piece handcrafted, made to order, custom sizes available, and produced in our worldwide studios.
The collection includes standing bears, climbing bears (integrated with stone or bronze tree elements), mother and cub groupings, prowling studies and monumental life size pieces over 180cm tall and 200kg+. Bear species include grizzly, polar, black, brown and panda. Closely related collections include the full bronze animal sculpture range, complementary bronze wolf statues for wild predator compositions, and life size bronze statues at the larger end of the size range.
Each bear is sculpted with species specific anatomical accuracy, cast in solid bronze, and hand-patinated. Designed in Birmingham, England and made in our worldwide studios, shipped worldwide free of charge, lifetime guaranteed. Suitable for grand garden installations, lodge and rural property entrances, civic memorial commissions, and serious private collectors.
FAQs
What bear species do you offer?
Grizzly (largest, characteristic shoulder hump), polar (longest, white-patina), black bear (medium), brown bear (similar to grizzly but distinct), and giant panda. Each is sculpted with species-specific anatomy, including body proportions, head shapes, and characteristic poses.
Can I have a life-size grizzly?
Yes. Life-size grizzly bears are major pieces, typically 220 to 250cm tall standing on hind legs, weighing 400 to 700kg. These are statement commissions for lodge installations, grand garden entrances, hunting estates, and serious private collectors. Lead time 12 to 16 weeks.
Are mother-and-cub combinations available?
Yes. Mother-with-cubs is one of our most popular bear configurations, typically a seated or standing female with one, two, or three cubs around her. Each cub is cast separately so positioning is flexible across the installation site.
Suitable for grand garden installations?
Particularly so. Life-size bears are statement garden pieces, dominating the landscape the same way bears dominate a forest clearing. Best placed with sight-lines from the main approach to the house, with open space around them to register at full scale.
What patinas suit a bronze bear?
Traditional dark brown for grizzly and brown bear pieces (matches the natural fur colour). Jet black for black bears. White or pale grey patinas for polar bears (unusual but available). Naturalistic two-tone for panda pieces (black and white markings).
