Giant Sculptures Monumental Standing Bear Bronze Sculpture 380cm, rearing upright with warm brown patina, mounted on a square granite plinth against a plain grey background.
Monumental Standing Bear Bronze Sculpture - 380cm $156,45400
Description

The Monumental Standing Bear Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 380cm, presenting a full-grown bear rearing upright on its hind legs with forelegs raised and head held forward in a posture of absolute authority. At this scale, the piece dominates any setting it occupies, demanding attention and inspiring a genuine sense of awe.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to Museum Standard

This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every nuance of the original model at monumental scale. Across the surface, dense fur texture is rendered in exceptional detail: individual strands and tufts are legible across the flanks, shoulders, and torso, giving the finished bronze a tactile depth that photographs barely capture. The warm brown patina is applied by hand and sealed, producing a rich tonal range from deep shadow in the recessed fur to warm amber on the raised ridges. The result reads as authentic and natural under both daylight and architectural lighting.

Mounted on a large, solid square granite plinth that provides visual weight proportionate to the sculpture itself, this piece is suited to grand exterior settings: institutional forecourts, hotel entrances, corporate campuses, estate drives, and large public gardens. The granite base grounds the composition and allows the bear to read cleanly against sky or architectural backdrops. The bronze weathers gracefully outdoors and requires no special maintenance beyond occasional waxing to retain the patina's character.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer alternative patina finishes including dark brown, verdigris green, and black oxide, as well as custom scaling to suit your specific site dimensions. This sculpture can also be produced without the granite plinth if a custom base is preferred for your installation. For commissions inspired by specific wildlife references or site requirements, contact us before ordering so we can discuss the full scope of your project.
