Giant Sculptures Large Traditional Mother Bear and Cubs Bronze Sculpture with warm brown patina, seated mother flanked by a standing cub and one on her back.
Large Traditional Mother Bear and Cubs Bronze Sculpture - 170cm $77,33900
Description

The Large Traditional Mother Bear and Cubs Bronze Sculpture stands 170cm tall and presents a three-figure family grouping of rare tenderness: a broad-shouldered mother bear seated and turning gently to her left, one cub reaching up to press its muzzle against hers, and a second cub draped contentedly across her back.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This large bronze bear sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which captures every strand of the dense fur texture that runs across all three figures. The surface carries a warm brown bronze patina, deepening in the recesses of the coat to emphasise volume and movement, with a faint greenish oxidation at the base edge that reinforces the naturalistic character. As a hand-finished bronze animal statue, each piece develops its own tonal depth through the finishing process; no two are identical.

At 170cm and 280kg, this is a commanding presence suited to entrance halls, atriums, landscaped gardens, private estates, and corporate courtyards. The warm bronze tones sit well against stone, pale render, dark timber, and mature planting. The low oval base, textured to suggest rocky ground, integrates naturally into both interior and outdoor settings without requiring a separate plinth.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a range of patina finishes including classic warm brown, dark espresso, verdigris, and polished highlight variants. The composition can also be scaled up or down to suit a specific site. If you are considering a custom scale or a unique finish inspired by the work of a particular artist or natural reference, contact us before ordering and we will prepare a detailed quote.
