Large Traditional Rearing Bear and Eagle Bronze Sculpture from Giant Sculptures, showing the bear reared up clawing at the eagle in flight above a naturalistic base.
Large Traditional Rearing Bear and Eagle Bronze Sculpture - 200cm $126,02500
Description

The Large Rearing Bear and Eagle Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 200cm and captures one of nature's most primal contests: a bear reared onto its hind legs, mouth open, forelegs clawing upward, locked in a tug-of-war over a fish with a great eagle whose wings spread wide above in full flight.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this large bronze animal sculpture is hand-finished to a deep, dark brown antique patina. Warm highlights emerge across the bear's textured fur and the eagle's individual feathers, giving the surface a lived-in richness that photographs cannot fully convey. The dark bronze wildlife sculpture carries a consistent antique tone overall, with subtle variation that rewards close inspection. Every claw, every flight feather, and the strained posture of each animal is resolved with the precision that characterises hand-finished bronze casting.

At 200cm and 400kg, this piece anchors a space with genuine authority. The cantilevered eagle extends beyond the base footprint, creating a dramatic silhouette from every angle. It is equally suited to a grand entrance hall, a boardroom reception, a stone-flagged courtyard, or a formal garden setting. The dark patina reads well against pale stone, rendered masonry, and mature planting alike. No pedestal is required; the low naturalistic rocky base is integral to the composition.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include classic dark brown antique, light natural bronze, verdigris green, and blackened bronze. The composition can be scaled up or down for site-specific installations, and the piece can be commissioned inspired by the work of wildlife sculptors working in the American and European traditional naturalist tradition.
