Wall Art & Wall Decor

Almost all wall art sold today is printed. Ours is made. That is the only distinction worth leading with, because it changes everything that follows: what the piece is worth, how it behaves in light, and whether it still holds your attention in five years. Eight in ten works in this collection stand proud of the wall rather than sitting flat against it.

What that means in practice is a range built from materials rather than images. Carved and slatted timber, worked metal, cast acrylic, woven leather, raised plaster and applied stone are cut, folded and assembled by hand, frequently two or three in a single piece. Browse by material in metal wall art, wood wall art, canvas art and acrylic art.

The character is contemporary throughout. Most work is abstract, a substantial share is geometric, and there are distinct Scandinavian, organic and illuminated strands within it. Recognisable subjects are the minority: botanical, landscape and figurative pieces together account for little more than a tenth. Browse by style in abstract art, 3D wall art and geometric art.

Scale is the thing worth getting right. Nearly nine in ten pieces run 80cm or larger and almost four in ten pass 160cm, because a contemporary wall is bigger and emptier than a period one and swallows anything modest. This collection is made for interiors and reads best under directional light. For exterior positions see outdoor wall art and decor.

Every piece of wall art we make is handcrafted to order by our artists, designed in Birmingham and made in our worldwide studios.
