Description

A seated woman leans down over a winged infant lifted towards her, and a butterfly hovers just above their heads. A bow rests at the right of the foot with its quiver spilled beside it. The whole group is gathered into the middle of the square with a plain narrow margin holding it in.

Marble Wall Art Held to a Single Quiet Moment

The tenderness has to survive the stone, and that comes down to two things: the infant's arm is undercut so it reads as reaching rather than resting, and the woman's drapery is cut in long unbroken folds so nothing competes with the two faces. The butterfly is the thinnest passage in the panel and is left until last. The stone is white with a close pale matrix, worked to a soft finish that keeps the modelling gentle.

A small square panel suits a wall you pass close to: above a console, in a hallway, a bedroom, a nursery or a stair return. It rewards being hung at standing eye level rather than high up, because the faces are the whole point, and it wants a soft light rather than a spot raking across the drapery.

Choosing the Carved Detail and Hanging a Small Panel

Four weeks. The two faces are carved first and everything else is worked around them, because if either one goes wrong the panel is finished before it starts, and no amount of good drapery recovers it. The square is yours to set, and the carved detail in the field is made to whatever you choose to have there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Around 29kg, boxed, and it hangs on a pair of concealed plates.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
