This display plinth is a hollow square column of acrylic sheet faced with an iridescent film, closed at the top by a flat panel that takes a single piece. The film throws strong colour: deep blue and violet across one face, red running to crimson on the next, and the colours slide into one another as you walk round it. Towards the foot the faces clear to a pale gold and white, so the column seems to rise out of the floor, while its corners, inside and out, run up it as thin bright lines.
The film is the whole surface here, so the work is in keeping it clean and continuous. Each face is one unbroken panel with no seam across it, the corners meet square and true, and the top closes level with the walls, so nothing interrupts the colour from foot to top. Because the sheet stays see-through, the inner faces show behind the outer ones, and where two colours overlap they deepen into a third. Seen straight on, a face can read almost solid blue; seen at a slant, the same face turns violet or red, which is why no two people standing round it see quite the same column.
With its top 100cm from the floor, it presents a single object at about the height of a bar counter, where a standing visitor meets it from just above, and it suits a piece with a simple outline in one colour. Put it where people move past it, an entrance, a gallery bay or a shop floor, since the film only changes when the eye does, and light it from high up and to one side. Keep busy surroundings away from it, because the faces reflect and tint whatever is close by.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The film can be chosen in other ranges, from cool blues and greens to golds and reds, or the sheet left clear, and the column can be made at another height or on a broader square to suit what it will carry. A run of them at stepped heights turns a row of objects into one display, each plinth ordered and priced on its own. To move it, two people carry it upright with their hands under the lower edges on opposite sides, then stand it on a hard, level floor, and only then put a piece on it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Deep blue and crimson on a flat-topped column of iridescent sheet place this plinth with our art furniture, our acrylic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
