Description

Eight horses come forward together over a field of stylised waves, manes and tails streaming behind them. The leading animals are carved so far off the ground that their front legs stand clear in the air, while the rank behind them is held progressively shallower. The wave field forms the foot of the same panel.

Horse Wall Art Carved Nearly Free of Its Back Plane

Grading the depth is the difficult part. The leading horses are worked almost to full round, the rank behind them is compressed into half that thickness, and the rearmost are little more than modelled shadow, yet all eight stay attached to one back plane and read as a single charge. The marble is a warm cream with clear grey veining and a fine crazing across the flanks, finished to a satin sheen that follows the muscle.

A panel of this scale wants a wall with nothing else on it: a double-height hall, a stair landing, a formal reception room, a hotel lobby or a covered courtyard. It reads best from several metres back, where the leading horses lift away from the rank behind them, and it takes light raking from one side far better than a flat wash from the front.

Fixing a Two-Metre Marble Panel to the Wall

Ten weeks. Eight animals off one plane means each horse has to be freed without cutting away the stone that holds the one behind it, and the order of cuts cannot be changed once it has started. The width is made to your wall and the wave field can run further out to either side. The count of horses is fixed by the composition. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. It comes in near 1,079kg, crated flat, and at that weight it needs an engineered fixing into structural masonry rather than plugs.

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
