About Our Bronze Rabbit, Fox & Fish Statues

These three subjects sit together because they share a scale rather than a family. Rabbits, hares, foxes and fish are the small wild animals of a British garden, and all of them work at a size where a piece can sit among planting at eye level rather than needing open ground and a plinth.

Each brings a different demand on the casting. A hare in mid-leap puts the whole animal on one hind foot. A fox's brush is a long thin mass balanced against the body. A leaping fish has to hold itself clear of a base with no visible support. All three are poses bronze can carry and stone cannot.
