Cascading Rabbits Bronze Sculpture, standing 35cm at its tallest point, presents four individually cast rabbit figures arranged in a flowing descending sequence that reads as a single animated moment frozen in bronze.
Each figure in this handcast bronze rabbit group is produced using the lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every nuance of surface modelling from the original sculpted forms. The finished pieces carry a warm, rich brown patina with subtle tonal variation across the ears, haunches, and outstretched limbs, giving each rabbit a depth of character that flat-cast finishes cannot achieve. This is fine art bronze casting applied to the natural world.
The composition places two rabbits resting and leaning forward at the upper tier, a third caught mid-stretch in a leaping pose, and a fourth at the base lowering its head as though drinking or investigating the ground. Set against a natural stone ledge beside water, the arrangement suits a pond surround, a garden terrace, a low stone wall, or a wide outdoor plinth. The warm bronze tones integrate naturally with grey limestone, aged sandstone, and wet slate, and hold their depth equally well through full seasonal exposure. With no plumbing, no integral plinth, and no garden-specific structural elements, the group works just as well displayed indoors on a console, sideboard, or gallery shelf.
The patina shown is our warm brown finish, but we offer a range of alternatives including verdigris, dark espresso, and natural aged green. The group can also be scaled up or reconfigured as a bespoke commission, whether to match a specific stone setting or to incorporate additional figures inspired by the work of contemporary wildlife sculptors. Contact us before ordering to discuss options.
