FAQs

Are pumps and plumbing included?

Yes. Every fountain ships with a matched submersible or external pump (specified for the volume of water the design moves), all necessary plumbing fittings, and detailed installation instructions. We do not supply the basin or pond itself, as that is site-specific, but we provide full specifications including recommended dimensions.

What size pond or basin do I need?

Each fountain in the collection includes recommended basin dimensions in the product specification. As a general rule, the basin should be at least 50% wider than the fountain's footprint to contain splash and allow sufficient water volume for pump operation. For freestanding bowl fountains, the bowl itself is included as part of the casting.

Can a bronze fountain run year-round outdoors?

In most climates, yes. Bronze is unaffected by freezing temperatures or sustained outdoor exposure. In climates with hard winters, we recommend draining the pump and any exposed plumbing before the first deep freeze to prevent pipe damage (the bronze itself is fine; the pump motor is not). Cover the basin to avoid winter debris.

Do you offer fountain installation?

We do not directly provide installation, but we coordinate with local landscape specialists and can recommend qualified installers in most major markets. Installation typically involves basin construction, electrical supply for the pump, plumbing connections, and water supply. Budget approximately £2,000 to £8,000 for professional installation of a mid-scale fountain.

Can I commission a custom bronze fountain?

Yes. Custom fountain commissions span size variations, custom figurative designs, integration with existing pond designs, and entirely bespoke compositions.
