The Monumental Classical Three Dancing Figures Bronze Fountain stands 260 centimetres tall and presents one of the most commanding figurative water features available in cast bronze. Three semi-draped female figures are arranged in a perfect circle, each leaning inward with arms outstretched to clasp hands with her neighbours, their legs raised in dynamic mid-dance, flowing drapery frozen in apparent motion around them.
Each figure is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which preserves the precise tension of drapery, the subtle articulation of hands, and the expressive lean of each pose. The surface carries a rich dark brown patina with warm reddish-brown tonal variation, applied by hand after casting to build depth and age naturally over time. The result is a finish that reads as both antique and alive, shifting in quality as light moves across it. The large ornate stone basin sits beneath the figures on a carved cylindrical drum decorated with floral and foliate relief work, providing a visual anchor proportionate to the scale of the sculpture above.
At 260 centimetres and one tonne, this fountain belongs in a setting that can carry its presence: a formal courtyard, a walled garden axis, a civic forecourt, or the centrepiece of a large estate terrace. The classical figurative composition reads clearly from distance, making it equally effective as a focal terminus at the end of a long garden vista or as the centred feature of a reflective pool. The stone basin weathers handsomely in outdoor conditions, and the bronze patina deepens and enriches further with exposure.
Patina options include verde green, aged black, warm brown, and natural unsealed bronze. The basin diameter and overall scale can be adjusted for specific site requirements. We are also able to integrate bespoke hydraulic specifications on request. If you are considering a commission inspired by the work of Bertel Thorvaldsen or similar classical figurative traditions, contact us before ordering so we can discuss scope and lead time.
