Small Bear Sculptures

At 30cm to 79cm a bear sits on furniture rather than on the floor, and that changes the piece completely. You see it at close range and from above, so the finish matters more than the silhouette: a graffiti drip, a chrome reflection or a sliced section is examined properly rather than read from across a room.

This is the size most people buy first, and the one that suits a console, a shelf, a hearth or a desk without rearranging anything around it. Four in five are cast resin, which holds the finer detail these dimensions depend on, with fibreglass on the rest. Around a third carry pop art treatments in bold lacquer, chrome and hand-applied graffiti.
