Description

This splash is cast in clear resin and thrown out wide rather than high. Long, slender arms run out almost level on either side, a broad fan lifts on one side and breaks into pointed tips, and a cluster of upright spouts rises from the middle, the tallest of them closed by round beads. Brown streaks crowd together at the foot, dense enough there to read almost black, and loosen into amber as they climb into the fan, while the long arms and most of the spouts stay nearly colourless. The splash rises from a white marble block veined in grey.

Brown Streaks Stirred Up at the Root of a Clear Splash

The brown is drawn through the resin as streaks rather than spread as a tint, so the water stays clear between them and every strand keeps an edge of its own. Where the splash leaves the block the streaks are packed tight and turn a deep brown that is nearly black; higher up they separate, warm to amber and run in fine veins towards the points of the fan. Most of the long arms are left entirely clear, and that contrast is the idea of the piece: a cloud of brown churned up at the root of a clear burst. Each arm is polished out to a smooth rounded or pointed end, and the streaking falls differently every time it is made.

Its reach to either side is the thing to plan around. Give it the length of a sideboard, a console or a long low cabinet, with open space at both ends so the arms are not crowded by whatever stands beside them. Daylight from a window to one side separates the brown into its strands and makes the clear arms glint, and a plain pale wall behind it sharpens the outline of every arm. It reads well across a dining room, or from a sofa on the opposite side of a living room, where the whole spread is seen at once.

Depth of Brown, the Marble Block and Delivery

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The brown can be deepened towards black or kept to a pale amber, carried further out along the arms or held to the root, or exchanged for another colour altogether; the streaks can also be left out so that the whole splash is clear. The reach of the arms and the number of spouts are worked out to order, and the marble block can be cut from a darker stone. Each arm is padded on its own inside a fitted crate for the journey, and the piece should be lifted by the thick resin at the foot, never by an arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
