Giant Sculptures Classical Bronze Cherub Trumpet Urn Sculpture 150cm, three winged cherubs with trumpets at the rim above recumbent fauns on a scrolled base.
Classical Bronze Cherub Trumpet Urn Sculpture - 150cm $110,98100
Description

The Classical Bronze Cherub Trumpet Urn Sculpture stands 150cm tall and commands immediate attention through its layered complexity: three winged cherubs perch at the rim of a grand circular bowl, each raising a long trumpet outward, while beneath them three goat-legged faun figures bear the weight of the vessel on their shoulders. Every element is arranged in precise tripartite symmetry around a central pedestal column, producing a composition that feels both ceremonial and alive.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to an Antique Patina

This piece is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which captures the fine surface ornament in full: the egg-and-dart moulding that runs the exterior rim of the bowl, the repeating medallion frieze below it, the acanthus leaf and volute scrollwork of the base, and the musculature of each satyr figure. After casting, the surface is hand-finished to a deep brown-black antique bronze patina, applied and worked by hand to settle consistently across every carved detail. The result reads as a coherent aged object rather than a uniformly coated casting.

At 150cm and 200kg, this is a piece that anchors a space. Indoors, it suits double-height entrance halls, grand reception rooms, hotel lobbies, and conservatories where the scale can be properly read. Outdoors, cast bronze is fully weatherproof and the dark patina holds well in open conditions; a covered terrace, a formal garden axis, or a sheltered courtyard each provide an appropriate setting. The bronze and black tones sit naturally against stone, marble, dark timber, and warm plaster palettes.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer the full range of bronze patina finishes, from this classic dark antique brown-black through to verde green, warm mid-brown, and polished highlight variants. The scale of the piece can be adjusted to suit your space, and the bowl interior can be configured for use as a functional water feature if required, inspired in part by the work of classical European decorative foundries. Contact us before ordering to discuss your preferred specification.
