Large Astronaut Sculptures

An astronaut at human height does something the smaller versions cannot. Because the visor hides the face and the suit standardises the body, a life-size figure reads as a person in the room rather than as a model of one, and people react to it accordingly. That is the effect these are bought for.

Everything here is cast resin finished in sprayed lacquer, chrome and metallic. At this scale the mirrored helmet becomes a genuine reflective surface rather than a detail, so the piece picks up the room around it and changes as you move past.

Poses run across standing, walking, seated and floating figures, many holding balloons, planets or hearts. Browse the smaller sizes in medium astronaut sculptures, the full range in astronaut sculptures, and the wall-mounted versions in wall sculptures.

These are interior pieces and they need clear floor rather than a corner, since the silhouette is most of what you are buying. Place one where the helmet has something worth reflecting: a window, a lamp or a view rather than a blank wall. See indoor sculptures and statues and pop art sculptures.

Every piece is handcrafted to order by our artists, designed in Birmingham and made in our worldwide studios. Standard production takes around three to four weeks, and we offer free worldwide shipping. Get in touch about custom colours or a scale we do not list.
