The Traditional Pigeon Group Bronze Sculpture presents four life-like pigeons arranged in a naturalistic row, each standing upright at 50cm, cast in rich warm bronze with a golden-brown patina that catches light across every raised feather detail.
Each bird in this group is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which preserves the extraordinary surface resolution across the wings, breast, and articulated taloned feet. The feather carving is executed at a level of detail rarely seen outside museum-quality bronzework: individual quills are defined across the back and wing panels, and subtle tonal variation in the patina gives each figure its own character within the cohesive group. The warm golden-brown bronze patina deepens at the recesses and brightens at the raised ridges, producing an aged, gallery-grade finish that weathers gracefully in outdoor conditions.
The four-figure grouping is designed to be placed along a stone ledge, garden wall coping, paved pathway, or low plinth edge, where the staggered depth arrangement reads as genuinely naturalistic from every angle. The warm bronze tones sit comfortably against natural stone, slate, weathered timber, and formal clipped hedging. This sculpture is equally suited to a private garden terrace, a landscaped courtyard, or a formal estate setting. Given its solid cast construction and the inherent durability of outdoor bronze sculpture, the group requires no shelter and will develop a distinguished patina over time in open-air conditions.
We can supply the group in alternative patina finishes including dark antique brown, verde green, or polished natural bronze. The composition can also be adjusted: individual birds from the group may be ordered separately, or the group can be scaled up for a more monumental garden installation. If you have a specific setting in mind or would like to discuss a bespoke commission inspired by the work of a particular wildlife artist, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on the best approach.
