The Monumental Contemporary Prowling Tiger Bronze Sculpture stands 220cm in length, presenting a full-bodied tiger caught mid-stalk, its head lowered toward the viewer, mouth open in a controlled, commanding snarl. At 450kg of solid cast bronze, this is a sculpture that commands the ground it occupies.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax process, this large bronze tiger sculpture captures every detail of the animal's physicality: the wrinkled brow, the tension across the shoulders, the naturalistic fur texture pressed into each surface by hand. The finish is a smooth dark bronze with a grey-black patina, polished to a subtle sheen across the muscular planes of the body, deepening to near black in the recesses of the coat. The result is a surface that reads as both tactile and alive, shifting with ambient light.
At this scale, the sculpture holds its own in expansive architectural settings: entrance halls with generous ceiling heights, corporate lobbies, gallery or museum spaces, landscaped courtyards, and private estate grounds. The dark patina reads equally well against pale stone, weathered brick, and formal landscaping. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement, cast bronze being inherently weather-resistant when properly sited and maintained.
We offer a range of patina options beyond the standard grey-black, including warm mid-tone bronze, verdigris, and polished natural bronze. The sculpture can also be produced at alternative scales to suit specific architectural contexts. If you are working to a brief or require site measurements to be matched, contact us before ordering and we will scope the commission with you directly.
