The Monumental Contemporary Galloping Horse Bronze Sculpture stands 250cm tall, a surrealist statement piece in which a powerfully modelled horse frozen at full gallop carries a melting clock draped across its back, the numerals six through twelve rendered in warm gold-toned finish against dark patinated bronze.
Produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, this large bronze horse sculpture achieves the kind of surface complexity that only hand-finishing can deliver. The horse body carries a deliberately rough, expressionistically fragmented texture that catches and holds light across its flanks, while the clock face and saddle border are refined to a smoother finish with gilded accent detailing. A rich dark brown patina grounds the whole piece, deepened further by the raw organic texture of the integral cast bronze base. The result is a work that reads with equal force up close and at a distance, the kind of presence that defines a monumental bronze sculpture.
At 250cm tall and 450kg, this is a sculpture that commands architectural scale. It suits a formal entrance hall, a commercial atrium, a hotel lobby, or an open courtyard. The dark bronze and gold palette works with stone, concrete, polished marble, and aged oak. The piece is equally at home outdoors; solid cast bronze resists weathering without loss of detail, and the rich patina deepens naturally over time in an exterior setting.
We offer the full range of bronze patinas, from verde antique and traditional dark brown to warm honey or polished natural bronze. Scale can be adjusted to suit your space, and fully bespoke commissions are welcomed, including versions inspired by the work of Salvador Dalí. Please contact us before ordering to confirm dimensions, patina preference, and installation logistics for a piece of this weight and scale.
