The Monumental Classical Winged Goddess Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 210cm, presenting the ancient and immediately recognisable form of a headless, armless deity in full forward motion, wings spread wide and robes pressing against the body as though driven by a fierce and constant wind.
Every surface of this figure is cast in solid bronze using the traditional lost-wax method, a process that captures the extraordinary fabric detail of the windswept drapery with precision that no mechanical process can replicate. The finish is a warm reddish-brown patina, applied and burnished by hand, giving the bronze its characteristic depth and tonal consistency from the hem of the robes to the broad arc of the extended wings. This is not a production casting. It is a hand-finished bronze sculpture in which the relationship between surface, light, and shadow changes throughout the day.
At 210cm, this piece commands any setting where scale and gravitas are required. Indoors, it suits double-height entrance halls, grand reception rooms, private galleries, and institutional atria. Outdoors, the patinated bronze weathers beautifully, developing a natural verdigris over time without structural compromise. The figure sits on a rectangular warm mid-brown wooden plinth, a simple flat-topped block form that frames the sculpture cleanly and provides visual grounding without competing with the drama of the figure above. It reads well against stone, marble, rendered walls, and mature planting alike.
We offer a full range of patina finishes including dark brown, verdigris, black, and natural polished bronze. The figure is also available at alternative scales to suit specific architectural contexts, and we welcome fully bespoke commissions inspired by the work of classical Greek sculptors of the Hellenistic period. Please contact us before ordering if you require a non-standard finish or scale, or if you would like to discuss a site-specific installation.
