The Monumental Classical Winged Angel and Cherub Fountain stands at an impressive 320cm, commanding any formal garden or estate setting with its three-tiered cascading structure, crown figure of a winged Victory-type angel, and rich antique bronze patina throughout.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this monumental bronze garden fountain is finished entirely by hand. Warm brown bronze tones deepen into darker oxidation within every recessed cavity, giving the surface a genuine antique character rather than a uniform coat. At the apex, a winged angel figure spreads broad wings above a mid-tier cluster of cherub and putto figures who appear to support the upper basin. The lower basin rim carries four lion-mask water spout heads, each cast with sharp relief detail. Fluted column supports rise between tiers, and the whole structure sits upon an octagonal stepped base set within a large circular reflecting pool with decorative stone coping. Water flows simultaneously from each level, filling the pool with a continuous cascade that animates the entire composition.
At this scale, the fountain is a permanent installation suited to formal gardens, grand estate grounds, hotel courtyards, civic plazas, and heritage landscape projects. The warm bronze palette pairs well with pale limestone, dressed sandstone, clipped box hedging, and gravel parterre settings. The circular pool base and classical figurative programme make it a natural focal point for any axis-based garden layout.
Patina options include the warm antique brown shown, a cooler verde green weathered finish, and a dark museum black. The scale of this piece can be adjusted; clients requiring a version for a more intimate courtyard or a larger civic installation are welcome to discuss requirements directly with our studio. For pieces inspired by the work of classical European fountain sculptors, we are experienced in developing bespoke programmes around specific iconographic briefs.
