The Monumental Classical Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 350cm, commanding immediate attention with its dramatic upward surge of energy and precision anatomical detail. Both front legs are raised and bent, the head turned with natural tension, and the mane and tail captured mid-flow in a composition that reads as powerfully from a distance as it does up close.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every surface nuance from the original model: the definition of each muscle group, the individual strands of the flowing mane, the subtle curve of the hind fetlocks bearing the full weight of the composition. The result is a solid cast bronze sculpture with a deep black-brown patina, warmed by hand-applied highlights across the muscular contours to give the coat a sense of living depth. At 1,200kg, this is a piece engineered for permanence as much as presence.
Suited to grand exterior settings including formal parkland, private estate lawns, civic plazas, and landscaped entrance courts, the sculpture is equally at home in large interior spaces: a hotel atrium, a private gallery, or an open-plan architectural interior with sufficient ceiling height. The dark bronze palette integrates with stone, slate, pale gravel, and clipped formal hedging, and holds its own against open sky without competing with surrounding planting.
Patina options include the classic black-brown shown, a warmer mid-brown, a verdigris green for outdoor weathering effects, or a polished natural bronze. Scale can be adjusted to suit your specific site. If you have a commission in mind, contact us before ordering and we will guide you through the process from concept to delivery.
