The Monumental Classical Pegasus Fountain, standing 450cm tall and weighing 4,000kg, is a multi-figure composition of mythological winged horses captured at full gallop, rearing upright and leaping mid-flight around a central water basin. The central Pegasus rises with wings fully spread and mane in motion; flanking figures echo that energy in a radial arrangement that commands any grand exterior setting.
Each figure in this large-scale bronze fountain is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which preserves the sculptors' fine surface detail through every stage of production. Individual feathers are articulated across the full span of each wing; the flowing manes retain clear directional texture; and the musculature of each horse is resolved with the precision the classical tradition demands. The surface is hand-finished to a smooth, high-reflectivity golden bronze that reflects both natural light and water movement, intensifying the visual drama of the active jets at the figures' bases. This is a monumental bronze water feature built to architectural scale, with the structural integrity and weight specification to match.
Conceived for landmark exteriors, the fountain suits hotel forecourts, resort gardens, corporate plazas, private estates, and civic spaces where a centrepiece of genuine presence is required. The bright golden finish reads well against stone paving, dark cladding, and manicured formal landscaping alike. Water jets integrated at the base of each figure animate the piece continuously; the reflective basin surface doubles the visual impact at low light.
The standard finish is the polished golden bronze shown. We can apply alternative patinas including verdigris, dark antique brown, or a two-tone bronze and gold treatment. Scale can be adjusted for sites requiring a smaller footprint or a still larger statement piece. If you have a specific vision, inspired by the work of historical equestrian sculptors, or an entirely original brief, contact us before ordering and we will prepare a full bespoke proposal.
