A Monumental Classical Horse Bronze Sculpture standing ten metres tall, this commission-grade piece presents a stallion mid-prance: right foreleg raised and bent, head inclined with quiet authority, tail swept to one side in a single flowing arc. At 16,000 kg, it commands whatever ground it occupies, a plaza forecourt, the entrance drive of a private estate, or a large public garden, with the unhurried confidence of a monument built to last centuries.
Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method, the sculpture is finished entirely by hand. The surface carries a deep dark-brown patina that settles into a near-black at the recesses of the musculature while leaving the crests of the shoulder, haunch, and ribcage with a warmer burnished tone. Individual strands are worked into the curling mane; vein detail runs along each leg from cannon to knee; decorative rope banding encircles the lower hooves. The anatomical proportion follows the classical Renaissance model, a horse that reads as noble rather than merely large.
A sculpture at this scale belongs in open, generous settings: civic plazas, hotel forecourts, country estate approaches, racecourse grandstands, or landscape gardens where a single focal object is needed to anchor hundreds of metres of open ground. Structural installation planning, including foundation engineering and crane logistics, is part of the commission conversation we have with every client at this scale.
The patina can be adjusted, verdigris green, natural aged bronze, polished bright, or a custom finish to complement a specific architectural palette. The sculpture can also be produced at reduced scales on request, from life-size down to garden-feature proportions. Contact us before ordering to discuss site specifics, scale options, and installation requirements.
