Life-Size Traditional Trotting Horse Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 190cm, shown in side profile with raised foreleg and warm brown polished patina.
Life-Size Traditional Trotting Horse Bronze Sculpture (Low Profile Base) - 190cm $115,50100
Description

The Life-Size Traditional Trotting Horse Bronze Sculpture stands 190cm tall and captures a full-scale horse in mid-trot, one foreleg raised, head slightly turned, mane and tail caught in natural motion. Every surface detail, from the defined musculature along the shoulder and hindquarters to the fine texture of the flowing tail, is rendered with the precision that only direct observation and skilled craft can produce.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This sculpture is produced using the lost-wax casting method, the same process used for monumental equestrian bronzes for centuries. Molten bronze is poured into a wax-derived mould, then cooled and hand-finished by our studio artists to remove any seam lines and refine anatomical detail. The result is a warm brown patina bronze horse sculpture with polished highlights across the barrel, neck, and haunches, giving the piece a high reflectivity that shifts with natural and artificial light. The integrated low-profile rectangular base plate keeps the presentation clean and the silhouette uninterrupted, allowing the trotting pose to read clearly from any angle. As a life-size bronze horse statue weighing 450kg, this piece commands space with authority rather than decoration.

The scale and warm tonal finish make this sculpture equally suited to a grand entrance hall, a boardroom atrium, a stately exterior courtyard, or a formal garden setting. It pairs well with pale stone, dark timber, polished concrete, and landscaped grass. The traditional modelling style sits naturally alongside Georgian and Victorian architecture as well as contemporary minimalist interiors where the figurative form is the sole focal point.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include the classic warm brown shown, a darker antique verde, a light golden honey tone, and a near-black oxidised finish. Scale can be adjusted for installations requiring a smaller courtyard piece or a larger-than-life monument commission. If you have a specific equestrian brief, including breed reference, stance variation, or are inspired by the work of a particular sculptor, contact us before ordering so we can discuss the scope properly. Our team handles siting consultations and installation logistics for large commissions.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.
