Giant Sculptures Life-Size Traditional Cowboy Riding Galloping Horse Bronze Sculpture 400cm, rider leaning forward with whip raised, shown on plain background.
Life-Size Traditional Cowboy Riding Galloping Horse Bronze Sculpture - 400cm $95,93700
Description

The Life-Size Cowboy Riding Galloping Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at an extraordinary 400cm, capturing a Western rider at full gallop: body pitched forward, reins pulled taut, whip raised in a sweeping arc above his wide-brimmed hat. The energy of the piece is immediate and unrelenting, every line of horse and rider angled toward a single vanishing point of pure forward momentum.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which allows the foundry to preserve the finest surface details: the stitching on the saddlebag, the texture of the rider's period clothing, the tension in the horse's extended forelegs. The result is a hand-finished bronze statue with a warm brown patina deepened at recesses and lifted to lighter oxidation tones on raised surfaces, giving the piece genuine tonal depth rather than a flat coating. At 2,000kg, this is a work of serious structural weight built to endure outdoors without compromise.

A sculpture of this scale commands space proportionate to its presence. It suits large estate grounds, corporate forecourts, hotel approaches, and civic plazas equally well. The warm bronze palette reads against stone paving, gravel, clipped hedging, and contemporary hard landscaping alike. The integrated naturalistic terrain base grounds the composition without requiring a separate plinth, though a raised stone platform will add further drama if the setting allows.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

Patina options include dark museum brown, verdigris green, black, and custom antiqued finishes. The scale can be adjusted for sites where the full 400cm is not suitable, or increased further for truly monumental installations. If you are considering a commission inspired by the work of a specific equestrian sculptor or require site-specific engineering drawings, contact us before ordering so we can advise on the full scope of the project.
