The Large Traditional Seated Tiger Bronze Sculpture stands 150cm tall and presents a Bengal tiger in a commanding recumbent pose, forepaws extended across a sculpted rocky outcrop, head raised with an expression of calm authority and absolute presence.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this life-size bronze tiger sculpture is hand-finished by our studio artists to achieve a remarkable level of naturalistic detail. The surface carries a full polychrome painted finish, replicating the warm orange-brown ground and deep black stripe patterning of a Bengal tiger with striking accuracy. Individuated whisker stubble, precise eye detail, and the subtle modelling of musculature beneath the coat all speak to the craft investment this piece represents. The integrally sculpted rock formation base, finished in cool grey tones, completes a composition that reads as a naturalistic tableau rather than a conventional plinth-mounted figure.
At 150cm tall and 420kg, this is a monumental bronze animal sculpture suited to environments that can carry significant visual weight: grand entrance halls, double-height reception spaces, hotel lobbies, private courtyards, or institutional atria. The polychrome warm tones respond well to both daylight and focused interior lighting. Equally appropriate indoors or outdoors, the cast bronze construction is built to endure all weather conditions without degradation to the structural piece.
We can produce this tiger in alternative patina finishes including classic verde antique, dark brown, or a burnished golden bronze if a different surface character is preferred. Scale variations are available on commission. If you have a specific installation context in mind, contact us before ordering so we can advise on the best configuration for your space.
