The Large Traditional Eagle Head Bronze Bust stands at an imposing 150cm and presents the raptor's head and neck in uncompromising close focus, cast in profile with the beak slightly parted and every contour of the crown and neck rendered in individual feather relief.
This piece is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which allows the sculptor's finest detail to survive intact through every stage of production. The result is a dark brown to near-black bronze patina across the feathered surfaces, offset by a deliberate gold-toned finish on the beak that reads as both anatomically precise and visually arresting. The feather texturing across the crown and neck is worked individually, giving the surface a density and rhythm that rewards close inspection. The bust form is mounted on a substantial rectangular plinth in deep green veined marble, providing chromatic contrast and structural grounding appropriate to the scale of the piece.
At 150cm and 180kg, this is a work that commands significant architectural space. It suits formal reception halls, double-height entrance atriums, corporate lobbies, and exterior courtyard settings equally well. The dark patina reads well against stone, render, and dark-stained timber, while the green marble base introduces a classical palette that pairs naturally with heritage interiors and landscaped settings alike. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement, the bronze eagle bust is sealed and finished to withstand exterior conditions without loss of surface quality.
We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the dark near-black shown, including mid-brown, verde antique, and raw bronze. The scale of the piece can be adjusted to suit your specific installation, and alternative plinth materials are available on request. If you are considering a commission inspired by a particular treatment of the subject, contact us before ordering so we can discuss the full scope of options with you.
