Large Contemporary Fighting Tigers Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, two 220cm tigers rearing on hind legs in polychrome orange and black, on black base plates.
Large Contemporary Fighting Tigers Bronze Sculpture - 220cm $118,91300
Description

Large Contemporary Fighting Tigers Bronze Sculpture, standing 220cm tall, depicts two life-size tigers rearing up on their hind legs in a confrontational combat pose, each facing the other with claws extended and forepaws raised in the moment before impact.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Polychrome

Each tiger in this pair is individually cast using the traditional lost-wax method, then hand-finished by skilled artisans to achieve a surface of exceptional detail. Rather than a conventional patinated finish, these sculptures are presented in a naturalistic polychrome paint finish, with orange, black, and white colouring applied precisely across every contour of muscle, stripe, and claw. The left tiger stands with its mouth open in a full roar, teeth visible, claws extended with a dynamic splash-and-flame detail at the forepaw. The right tiger arches its back and lowers its head, forepaws raised toward its opponent. Together, the pair forms a single dramatic composition of raw animal power and controlled sculptural tension. Weighing a combined 350kg, the mass and presence of these sculptures communicate immediately at human scale.

At 220cm, this is a statement installation suited to expansive entrance halls, atrium spaces, corporate lobbies, large private gardens, or estate drives. The polychrome finish holds well against natural stone, pale rendered walls, and dark hardscape. Both sculptures sit on low-profile square black metal base plates, clean in silhouette and unobtrusive against a variety of floor surfaces. This life-size fighting tiger sculpture pair is as commanding indoors as it is outdoors, and the bronze substrate ensures long-term structural integrity in exposed conditions.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

The naturalistic polychrome finish shown is our standard presentation, but we can produce this pair in a traditional dark brown or verde patina, or in a custom finish to your specification. Scale modifications are available for clients who require a reduced or enlarged version of the composition. This sculpture is also available as a single figure if only one tiger is required for your space. If you are considering a bespoke commission, inspired by the work of artists working in the monumental animal sculpture tradition, contact us before ordering so we can align production to your brief.
