The Large Classical Roaring Tiger Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 220cm, commanding attention with its forward-leaning crouch, open snarl, and braced front paws that convey raw, arrested power. Every line of this piece communicates intent: the muscular frame coiled, the mouth parted to reveal carved teeth, the tail curling behind in counterbalance to the animal's forward aggression.
The figure is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, allowing the foundry to preserve the finest surface detail across the highly muscled bronze tiger form. A deep near-black patina has been hand-applied and burnished to produce the characteristic charcoal finish, with a subtle sheen emerging across the raised planes of the musculature and the carved ruff of fur at the neck and shoulders. The dark bronze patina sculpture sits on a rough-hewn pale marble base, its irregular, naturalistic surface texture contrasting with the precision of the bronze above.
At 220cm and 800kg, this is a statement piece suited to grand architectural settings: entrance halls with double-height ceilings, hotel lobbies, corporate atriums, landscaped terraced gardens, and formal outdoor courtyards. The near-black and white palette reads powerfully against pale limestone, polished concrete, and dark hardwood. The piece is equally resolved indoors and outdoors, with the bronze patina developing a deeper, richer character in exterior conditions over time.
We offer the tiger in alternative patina treatments, including warm mid-brown, verdigris green, and raw natural bronze. Scale adjustments are available for clients requiring a smaller edition for interior placement or a matched pair for flanking installation. If you are considering a commission inspired by this work, contact us before ordering so we can discuss specifications and confirm production timelines.
