Giant Sculptures Large Classical Angel with Urn and Bird Bath Bronze Fountain 230cm, winged figure in verdigris robes pouring from urn into pedestal basin.
Large Classical Angel with Urn and Bird Bath Bronze Fountain - 230cm $57,50700
Description

The Large Classical Angel with Urn and Bird Bath Bronze Fountain stands at an imposing 230cm, presenting a winged female figure in draped robes, both hands cradling a tilted urn that pours water into an ornate pedestal bird bath at her side. Her wings spread wide behind her, her hair falls in long carved waves, and her bare feet rest on a flat bronze base plate set flush within a circular shallow pool.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished with Selective Patina

This fountain is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which captures every feather barb, every fold of fabric, and the intricate grape vine column of the pedestal basin in precise, permanent detail. The surface finish is deliberately layered: warm brown-bronze tones across skin and wings shift into verdigris blue-green oxidation across the draped robes, while the scalloped basin and decorative pedestal carry rich warm brown with darker shadow accents. The result is a patina that reads as genuinely aged rather than artificially uniform. As a large cast bronze water fountain of this scale and weight, it commands a space rather than decorating it.

At 230cm and 380kg, this piece is designed for permanent outdoor installation: a formal garden axis, a walled courtyard, the centre point of a circular pool terrace, or the focal feature of a grand estate entrance. The integrated plumbing accommodates a recirculating pump, and the circular pool surround shown is a natural companion installation. Stone, clipped hedging, and formal gravel settings all suit the classical register of the piece.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We can adjust the patina treatment across the full figure, specify a uniform warm bronze or a deeper antique finish, and adapt the scale of the piece for different pool configurations. For clients seeking a commission inspired by the work of a specific classical sculptor, contact us before ordering to discuss the scope. Plumbing integration details and pump specifications are available on request.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
