Classical Standing Bacchus Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 100cm figure raising a chalice with warm brown patina on a stepped octagonal wood plinth.
Classical Standing Bacchus Bronze Sculpture - 100cm $10,44300
Description

The Classical Standing Bacchus Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 100cm, depicting the god of wine in a relaxed contrapposto stance, right arm raised to hold a shallow chalice aloft while the left hand gathers draped fabric and vine foliage at his side. The figure is rendered with confident anatomical precision, the weight of the body shifted naturally onto one leg, the head turned slightly as if in mid-celebration.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this handcrafted bronze figure carries a rich warm brown patina that settles evenly across the surface, drawing out the definition of the musculature and the fine detail of the curling shoulder-length hair, grape-leaf waist draping, and naturalistic rocky ground element at the base. Subtle highlights catch the raised forms of the torso and limbs, giving the piece genuine sculptural depth. This is a museum-quality classical bronze statue finished to gallery standard.

At 100cm and 50kg, this piece commands presence whether placed in a formal entrance hall, a library, a contemporary living room, or a sheltered outdoor courtyard. The warm bronze tones complement natural stone, polished marble, dark hardwood, and aged plaster equally well. The two-tiered stepped octagonal plinth, finished with a warm wood-tone lower tier, gives the figure an architectural grounding that suits both period interiors and modern minimalist spaces. Rated for indoor and outdoor placement, the cast bronze construction weathers gracefully with minimal maintenance.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a range of patina finishes including verde antique, dark brown, and polished warm gold, as well as custom scaling if you require a larger or more intimate version of this figure. The piece can also be commissioned on an alternative plinth material or with a personalised inscription plate. If you have a specific requirement inspired by the work of classical sculptors of antiquity, contact us before ordering and we will advise on the best approach for your project.
