The Classical Rearing Horses and Tiered Fountain Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 250cm, presenting a circular gathering of dynamic bronze horses in full stride, rearing and galloping around a multi-tiered stone fountain centrepiece. The composition is monumental in both scale and intent, designed for grand public squares, estate gardens, and landmark private commissions.
Each horse is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which captures every nuance of flowing mane, tensed muscle, and lifted hoof with exceptional fidelity. The handcrafted bronze horses carry a pronounced green verdigris patina across the body surfaces, deepening to a black-green on the legs and hooves, giving the group the appearance of a piece long settled into its environment. The stone fountain tiers and circular basin are finished in a pale limestone-toned masonry, aged to complement the oxidised bronze and unify the composition into a single, cohesive landmark. Integrated fountain plumbing runs through the structure, with active water flow cascading from the tiered fountain and rising from basin jets. This large-scale bronze fountain sculpture is built for permanence, weighing 1,000kg and engineered to function as a fully operational water feature.
Conceived for grand outdoor settings, this piece suits formal estate gardens, hotel courtyards, civic plazas, and the forecourts of stately properties. The aged verdigris palette reads beautifully against pale stonework, clipped topiary, or the open sky. Given its scale and integrated water mechanics, installation requires a prepared foundation and professional plumbing connection; our team can advise fully on site requirements prior to order.
Patina options include natural verdigris, dark statuary bronze, and raw polished bronze. Scale can be adjusted for different site envelopes, and the fountain tier count or basin diameter can be specified to suit the installation context. If you are working on a commission inspired by the work of a classical equestrian sculptor, we are happy to discuss the brief in detail. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm site suitability, plumbing integration, and foundation requirements.
