About Our Small Labubu Sculptures
Under 30cm is the size the character was originally designed at, and there is a reason it works there. The proportions were drawn for the hand: the head is oversized, the details are few, and the whole thing is legible at arm's length. Everything we make above this size is an enlargement of a form that started here.
What our version adds is finish. These are made to the same standard as the two-metre pieces, in sprayed lacquer, chrome and metallic over fibreglass and resin, rather than being moulded and printed at production scale. At close viewing distance that difference is the point.
