A lemon-gold wave curves down and up again in a deep U. At one end it rises into a crest that curls over and frays into fingers, open in places like lace; at the other, two fish spring clear of the water, their eyes set as small round hollows and their tails flicked up at the top. The yellow deepens to a warm amber where the wave gathers at its foot and fades to nothing along the crest and in the fins, and a squared black marble block carries the whole piece.
The colour runs from a pale lemon high in the wave to a deep amber-gold along its foot, with a few darker amber streaks drawn through the body, and it clears completely in the fins and tails of the fish and at the fingertips of the crest. The fish are part of the wave rather than set on it, so nothing outlines them: each one is a swelling of the water with a hollow for its eye and a fin folded back against its flank. Opposite them, the crest's lace of openings lets daylight in among the spray, while its polished faces throw warm reflections across the yellow.
With its block it stands 69cm, a good height for a hall console or a sideboard, where the yellow brings warmth to a cool, pale wall and the fish can be studied from a step away. Daylight from a window to one side turns the body a deep honey gold and the clear crest bright, and it sits as comfortably beside oak and brass as among whites and greys. Indoor use only.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. Your order is for one wave, sold individually with its block of black marble. As a commission the yellow can be taken towards a deeper amber or a paler lemon, the fish can be omitted or a third added, and the wave can be made to a scale of your choosing; the block can be made in a lighter stone. It is boxed in a foam-padded crate, the crest guarded and the block packed underneath, and once the block is standing level in its place the wave is lowered on by two hands beneath its body, never by the crest. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Yellow water deepening to amber, two fish springing from it, puts this wave among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
