Yellow Arched Upright Resin Sculpture - 98cm, an amber-edged resin arch with a flared fin and splayed foot on a black marble base, shown against a plain white background.
Yellow Arched Upright Resin Sculpture - 98cm $2,76700
Description

A yellow arch cast in resin that deepens to amber at the edges, its fin swung out at the waist and a splayed foot beneath. The yellow is bright and sunny through the body, and the thin edges of the arch and fin gather a warmer tone. It comes with a compact black marble base.

Yellow Warming to Amber at the Edges

Yellow is a difficult colour to hold in a clear body, because it can look thin; here it is deep enough to read as solid colour in the middle of the form and turns amber at the thin edges, which gives the arch a warm outline. The fin catches the warmer tone along its lip, and the crown of the arch carries it round in a single stroke. The black base sets the yellow off like a frame. Polished across every face, so the colour stays bright rather than cloudy, and each casting takes the amber edge a little differently.

A console in a grey or white room, where it lifts the whole space. It suits a north-facing room that needs warmth, and it sits well with blue and grey furnishings. Keep the wall behind it plain, because yellow competes with pattern. Daylight makes it glow; lamplight turns it golden. It brightens a dark corridor.

Brighter or Warmer, and the Crate

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The yellow can be made paler, towards lemon, or warmer, towards amber throughout, and the base can be cut in white marble. The same arch is also cast in pale blue, in clear and in marbled blue and black, each sold separately, and a pair in two yellows can be cast together for a matched group. It travels with its base in one crate and is a one-person lift, taken at the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

More warm, sunny castings are gathered in our resin sculptures, and the arch in other colours appears among our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
