A craggy ridge of resin runs as a line of peaks and hollows, curling into a lip at one end and gathering into a heavy, lobed mass at the other, with the material folded and pooled along its length, amber where it banks up and yellow where it thins. Four short legs are cast as part of the ridge and lift it clear of the surface. A long black marble bar is included and runs past the ridge at both ends.
Casting the legs as part of the ridge rather than adding them is what keeps this from reading as a rock on a stand. They come straight down from beneath the high ground, one under the first crag, two under the tallest peak and one under the lobed mass at the far end, so each rise reads as standing on its own leg and the line of the ridge continues through them to the bar. The colour deepens on the way down, from clear yellow on the peaks to a dark amber in the legs, which makes the run down to the stone legible as a continuation. Straight legs of even section would have separated the two halves of the object immediately.
A console, a desk or a long shelf suits it, and it should be seen along the ridge rather than from the end. Light from behind passes under the legs and between the peaks, which is the arrangement the lift is for. A plain wall behind holds the skyline, which a patterned one breaks up. The four legs lift the ridge clear of the bar, so light passes beneath it and the peaks stand out against whatever is behind instead of against the stone.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The leg count is set to three or five, the amber is deepened to brown in the hollows, and the bar is offered in white marble. Length is open here, and the ridge is modelled to the new run rather than stretched. Three legs give the ridge a lighter, more poised stance and five a more grounded one, each cast into the same ridge. On commission the resin can be cast in another colour entirely, the peaks and legs unchanged. It is crated with the peaks wrapped clear, and two people lift it into position. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A ridge of peaks is organic sculpture; the amber is run through resin sculpture; and something lifted clear of its own base is indoor sculpture work.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
