Yellow & Brown Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair - 75cm
Yellow & Brown Swirl Petal Resin Swivel Chair - 75cm $3,78200
Description

Lemon-yellow resin, turning faintly green at the crown, gives this swivel chair its colour. Fine threads of rust-brown ink fall down the back in long strands and settle across the seat, and the rolled lip deepens to a honey-brown that outlines the whole shell. It sits on a brass column with a screwed collar under the seat, over a broad brass disc.

Rust Threads Falling Through Lemon Yellow

The yellow is bright without being acid, nearer to citrine or olive oil than to a primary colour, and it shifts across the shell: chartreuse at the top of the back, warm and golden in the seat. The brown is laid in as hair-fine threads that run mostly downward, as if poured from the crown, and here and there they knot and pool before thinning out again. At the edge the colour concentrates into a honey-brown roll that gives the shell a firm outline. Brass beneath repeats the gold of the seat.

Yellow and brass make a warm combination, at home with walnut, dark green paintwork, terracotta or cream plaster. Use it at a vanity, a home office desk or in a bay window where morning sun can reach it and bring the yellow up. Swivelling on the column helps at a desk. The brass disc asks for firm, even flooring. Indoor use only.

Thread Weight, Stand Finish and Arrival

Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The threads can be specified sparser or denser, and the yellow can lean further towards green or towards gold. Brass is the stand on this chair; black and chrome are the alternatives. Every shell carries a pattern of its own, since the ink is worked by hand. Seat shell and stand travel boxed separately and are joined with bolts and a hex key that come with the chair. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A yellow, brass-footed seat, it belongs with our art furniture, takes a place in our metal sculptures for its stand, and in our organic sculptures for its shell.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
