A black marble base, included, carries this resin sculpture. The form is a peak rather than an openwork mass: nothing is pierced through it, and it rises from a broad craggy foot to a thin flag of material at the top. The whole surface is a coarse fracture, frosted to an opaque finish, and the colour runs a clean white at the crown to a dark charcoal at the foot.
The gradient does the work of a form here, and it runs the opposite way to most. Weight sits at the bottom in the charcoal, which is dense enough to read as slate, and the crown at the top is a pure opaque white thin enough that its edge is almost a line, so the piece looks as though the top of it has caught snow. Between the two the change is long, passing through a mid grey with no boundary anywhere in it. The surface is a coarse fracture over the whole object, closer to a split rock than to anything cast, and because it is frosted it holds no highlight at all: the reading is entirely tone and shadow, which is why the gradient is so legible. It is a narrow upright and much broader in the crown than in the foot.
At 77cm this suits a surface where the crown comes near eye level. A sideboard, a credenza, a console or a study shelf all carry it, and the base needs nothing under it. It needs no space behind, since nothing is pierced: a wall close up costs it nothing, which makes it right for a shelf or an alcove. What it does need is a mid-toned ground, because the white crown vanishes against a pale wall and the charcoal foot vanishes against a dark one, and the whole point is having both ends legible at once. Any light suits it. Indoor use only.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The height at which the gradient turns is what is decided at order, and it changes the object considerably: held low the piece reads as a white rock on a dark footing, taken to the middle as here it reads as a peak in weather, and carried high it becomes a dark rock with a white edge. A second colourway is made in which the charcoal is replaced by a green-aqua running up to the same white crown, and it is much the warmer of the two. The fracture can be run coarser or finer, and a polished version is made, though polishing a gradient this long turns tone into reflection and loses it. Other heights keep the same long grade. Nothing on it is delicate: it travels standing with the crown edge protected and goes under one arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted peak with a snowy crest belongs with our abstract sculptures; a solid form read in tone and shadow joins it to our organic sculptures, and white grading down to charcoal suits our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
