A cast resin drum table, a plain cylinder with a flat top and a flat foot. Most of the body is a milky white, dense enough to read as stone at a distance, and it clears to colourless in a band around the foot. Set into the white are real blossoms with green centres, together with pale yellow and apricot petals, held at different depths so they do not sit on one plane.
The drum is a plain cylinder and everything of interest is held inside it. Above a clear band at the foot the cylinder is milky white and almost opaque, so from across a room it reads like pale stone standing in clear water. Set into the white are real blossoms with green centres, together with pale yellow and apricot petals, and they sit at different depths rather than on one plane, so walking past the piece moves them against each other. Because the material around them is dense, only the nearest are sharp and the rest soften into the white. No two drums hold the same arrangement.
At 45cm the drum makes a side table for a reading chair or the arm of a sofa, or a stand in a hall where people pass within reach of it. The set botanicals are the reason to place it within reach rather than across a room: at arm's length the individual blossoms are legible, and from six paces the body reads simply as a pale stone cylinder. Light from one side lifts the white and lets the clear band at the foot pass the floor colour up into the body. Indoors only.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The botanical material is what sets the pace: the studio will not hurry a piece it cannot repeat. Three things are settled at order. What goes into the body: blossom and petals as here, leaf and seed heads alone, or a mix chosen from what the studio holds at the time. The ground, which can be this milky white, a clear body that leaves the material apparently floating, or a tinted ground in a single colour. And where the body clears, from this band at the foot through to no clear passage at all. Diameter and height are each specified. It ships upright in one crate on a purpose built pallet and two people are wanted to place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Real flowers suspended in a milky drum put this table with our art furniture; the petals and blossoms connect it to our organic sculptures, and the white-over-clear pour to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
