Description

This round table is cast in a jade-effect resin. The top is a flat disc with a deep squared edge, and faint concentric swirls are legible across its face when the light is right. It stands on one thick cylindrical column set centrally, whose surface is softly fluted rather than smooth. The whole piece is a milky white running towards the palest celadon, translucent enough to glow at the edges.

One Column Under the Whole Disc

A disc this wide on one column is a balancing act and the column is drawn to carry it. It is thick, set dead centre, and its surface is fluted in soft vertical waves rather than turned smooth, which gives the eye something to follow between the floor and the top. The disc's edge is squared rather than eased, so the table has a hard line all the way round at eye level when seated. In the top face faint concentric swirls are visible in raking light and invisible in flat light. The whole body is milky and translucent, so the rim of the top lights up while the middle stays dense.

It seats four comfortably as a dining or breakfast table, and the single central column means there is nothing for a knee to find. Allow generous clear floor round the rim for chairs. It wants light from above rather than from one side, which is what brings out the swirls in the top without washing the column. A plain floor suits it. The body is translucent, so whatever it stands on shows in the column. Indoors only.

Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. Three things are open. The diameter, quoted to your own figure, and a large top is made in sections. The column, from this fluted surface to a plain smooth one, or a fluted column of narrower diameter that gives more knee room. And whether the top stays plain, which it can, or carries the concentric swirls seen here, which are placed rather than incidental. Height is also yours to name. Top and column travel apart in one crate on a purpose built pallet, and four people are wanted to set the top onto the column. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
