Frosted all over, this lounge chair reads as a soft, milky white rather than as something to see through. A deep bowl forms the seat, its rim turned outward in a broad, even lip, and four stout legs carry it, flowing up into the bowl with no joint between. Gentle grey shading inside the bowl marks where the legs rise beneath it.
Frosting changes how the chair reads. With no gloss on it, the resin no longer shows its thickness as colour or sparkle; it becomes a single pale volume, and its shape is carried entirely by shading. The inside of the bowl darkens softly towards its centre, the rolled rim catches a band of brightness, and the legs read as smooth, solid posts. The surface is satin to the touch and even in tone, so the chair sits closer to porcelain or plaster than to glass.
Pale and quiet, it suits a bedroom, a calm living room or a gallery-like space where its silhouette can be seen from every angle. It works with limestone, plaster walls, bleached linen and pale oak, and against a dark wall it stands out like a smooth stone. Deep and close to the floor, it invites sitting back rather than perching.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. A gloss finish is possible instead of the frost, or the frost can go over a tinted casting for a coloured version in place of the white. A deeper dish reclines the seat further, and the stance is widened to match. Several can be frosted in one batch so their whites agree. The chair goes out complete in a dedicated crate, there is nothing to fit, and it is a two-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Built for lounging, this frosted chair is counted among our art furniture; its pebble-smooth outline suits our organic sculptures, and its milky casting our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
