A shallow white gloss body with a thick rolled rim carries a clear glass disc set a little inside its outline. Within the rim the white surface sweeps up on one side into a crescent that rises beneath the glass, and on the other side it stays low, so looking down through the disc you see the crescent curving up beside an open white hollow.
The rim is one continuous curve with no flat and no corner anywhere on it. The white is a full gloss on a compound curve, which is a harder finish to hold than a gloss on a flat panel, and it is unbroken from the level rim right up over the crescent. The glass is toughened and thick, and its edge is ground and polished flat rather than bevelled, so there is no bright rim to compete with the white beneath it. Under the disc the shell is as white and as glossy as the outside, because the whole of it is in view through the glass.
The glass sits at the height of a deep sofa or a low seat rather than an upright chair. Being circular it can be approached from any direction and has no corner to catch a shin, so it works in a room people move through. The crescent gives the table a front and a back even though the plan is round, and it looks best turned so the rise reads against the main sight line. White gloss shows a ring mark. Indoor use only.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. Three specifications change this table in different directions. The glass is supplied clear as here, bronze-tinted, or smoked, and each darkens the white shell seen through it, so a smoked disc turns a bright piece into a quiet one. The shell is white gloss as standard, with a matt white for a room where reflections are a nuisance and a black gloss for the inverse of this piece entirely. A solid resin disc replaces the glass where a fully opaque top is wanted, and it is the choice for a house with children, since it will take a knock the glass would not. Delivery is in two parts: the shell arrives crated on its base, the disc in a separate frame, and the disc is lowered in by two people once the shell is sited and levelled, straight down rather than slid across the rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A white fibreglass shell under clear glass places the crescent table in our fibreglass sculptures, alongside our art furniture, and its swept rise with our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
